MCS  ELECTIONS  OVER                                     May/20/2008

May/20/2008, it was a good turn-out of voters, not quite as many as last years voting. I, James Farbotnik of CyberWorld-usa send a  warm congratulations to Penny Delosh and Michael LeBire on their winning the May/20/2008 Election. Your victory was posted for the world to see on www.truenewsusa.com. With great anticipation, we are all truly looking forward to watching you fulfill your many promises to the children and community in the years to come.

I wish to thank all of the those who supported my campaign, although the numbers of community voters dropped by  almost 1/3 (about 500 voters) from last year's election, the numbers of my supporters have grown almost 50% more this year, and you all will never be forgotten. I didn't win this time, but there is always next time. My disappointment is not that I did not win this election, my disappointment is that I was hoping for the chance of helping the community more than just with education equipment FREE COMPUTERS for needy children. Moreover, my disappointment in not being able to be working as a School Board Member on a professional level with those who are respected in the School Board, and have been trying.  With special notation to Bill Sommerfield, a true gentleman who has impressed me as extremely intelligent and wise, politely outgoing and almost always adding fruitful words to issues, like a seed of thought to grow on. Bill Sommerfield is a diligent School Board Member always in attendance at board meetings, and he was the only active School Board Member in attendance at the important April/19/2007 asbestos awareness conference.  I was also looking forward for the chance to work with Andy Szarka, a strong minded person,  controversial on many issues, and impressively analytical in a good way. Yes, Andy Szarka should try for mayor again. Greg Fregoe, straight to the point in a good natured way, says what he means, honestly open minded with purpose to get the job done without wasted time or resources, a very respected man of integrity. And of course Julie Regan, a very interesting person, baring the weight of School Board President, delicately balancing a scale for equal purpose for the MCS and public, no room for errors, PR or otherwise, with retrospect to maybe mistaking kindness as a weakness with individual complaints.  Yes, Mrs. Julie Regan is a sweetheart,  my children think she is great!

With the MCS School Board team still emplace as it was without change, but with the exception of a  new MCS Superintendent Roger Clough properly exercising administration duties, and more closely looking out for us all.   So what will this upcoming school year of 2008 to 2009 bring?   Many persons did not like the ex-Superintendent Mr. Doug Huntley,  and for many different good reasons.

Mr. Roger Clough is becoming the new Superintendent this fall. Great!  I would encourage those many persons who felt discouraged with the system, per se because of the many years of the estranged ex-Superintendent Doug Huntley, to please try and regain faith in the system, and give Mr. Clough a chance.  I have spoken to Mr. Clough, several times now.  I have many trusted friends who speak highly of Mr. Roger Clough too. So with extrapolation, I do
not see Mr. Roger Clough as an ambitious man just trying to climb a political latter as some imply, but I do see a very intelligent and caring man, purely expressing a desire to do his best, hoping that we all give him that opportunity. So please give Roger Clough a chance, I give him my full support!.

Lastly, it is common knowledge in the community that over the years bad things have happened to certain individuals in the community after openly expressing a simple complaint, personnel grievance, or related specific problems, and some persons are now afraid to express a problem or complaint.   What can be done about this ? I am always open to suggestions. One alternative is  still bring me your complaint,  it will be honestly evaluated at a confidential level, and it can be carefully prepared and presented anonymously at a primary level by me to the proper authority. If MCS related, put forward to  Superintendent Roger Clough, or to entrusted members of the School Board that I support.  Let's make this next year the best year for advancements in our Massena community,  stronger public relations for the MCS, and positive growth for children and parents!
