SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATE

VINIRA FARBOTNIK,  I am running for School Board because I am honest, hardworking, and I believe that I could do a great job for the students, and teachers, and community as a whole.  I am a hard working mother with 4 children in school this year, and all 5 of my children will be in school for the 2009 September.  As a mother I know the endless wants and needs of  children, and together I work with my children,  teaching and learning everyday.  I work as a computer technician, and I am the manager of CyberWorld-USA computer store.  As a business woman in the community for the past 9 years, my many customers know me as a kind and friendly person, helping with everyday problems fixing there computers and saving their data.

Presently, I feel that the current MCS School Board is not diligent. Yes there are some good persons on the School Board, but too few. I am not happy with the way the current MCS School Board President Julie Regan treats me, or the other persons that bring up valid issues. Over a  year ago Julie Regan promised to tell the parents  the truth about the ASBESTOS problem in the school that was covered-up.  What happened to that broken promise?   Why is it that someone good like Leonard Matthews, William Sommerfield, or Greg Fregoe, have never become president of the MCS School Board?  If it is unfair, I hope to change that!

I am a highly smart person, with good time management.  I have the natural ability to find the problems and fix or correct it.  I only ask the voters for a chance, to prove to you, what I can do. I stand for helping all children get the chance for the highest education, and no child is ever left behind! Give me the chance and I will not let you down!   Vote for me, and if I get elected, my door will always be open 7 days a week, to anyone, student, teacher, or staff member,  that comes to me with a problem that needs mediation or fixing.  Please mark on your calendar for the May/19/2009 election , voting is from noon to 8;00 PM.

Thank you very much,   Vinira Farbotnik  (Cyberworld-USA)
